The essential role of the skin microbiota is now widely appreciated within the personal care industry. And, each year, we see more studies, associated marketing and related products released around the subject.

However, as the interest in “microbiota friendly ingredients” in finished personal care products grows, the question of how to effectively preserve these products remains.
